      　　此像为天安元年所造（466），已是北魏恢复佛教以后所造，但与以前的太安元年、张永造像、太安三年造像均很接近，可视为同一格调的作品。

    山西大同云岗石窟第20窟
    An outside view of Cave No.20 of Tanyao's Five Caves
    Datong, Shanxi, Northern Wei

      　　昙曜五窟皆是马蹄形平面的草庐形窟中造成，窟中佛像巨大，给人强烈的印象。五窟造像多为三世佛组合。第20窟因崖面破塌，才形成"露天大佛"的真容。
